Ten years of heating up the region
There's just two weeks to go until our region’s much-loved Cabin Fever Festival returns to heat things up this winter. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Cabin Fever will deliver ten days of incredible food, wine, music and unforgettable experiences from 17 to 26 July.
What began as an initiative to support the region's tourism and hospitality industry during the quieter winter months has grown into one of the South West's most anticipated festivals, bringing locals and visitors together to enjoy the very best of Augusta Margaret River's food, wine and music.
Since its inaugural event, Cabin Fever has welcomed more than 56,400 attendees across 470 events, generating more than $1.78 million in ticket sales. Thanks to the festival's collaborative business model, ticket revenue is returned directly to participating local businesses, ensuring the economic benefits remain within the community.
More than just a tourism event, Cabin Fever has redefined winter as a season of connection and become a favourite on the local calendar. Initiatives such as the Town Takeovers bring the streets of Margaret River, Cowaramup and Witchcliffe to life, giving locals and visitors to connect with friends and enjoy venue specials, happy hours, live music and a range of unique experiences.
This year's festival program packed of unique events and with festival's famous tagline, "When it rains, we pour," winter weather is all part of the experience. View the full program here and secure your tickets now.
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to have supported Cabin Fever since its inception through our Major Events Grants Program, to connect, strengthen and celebrate our community.
