Rapid Ascent Margaret River Ultra Marathon Volunteer Opportunities
The Margaret River Ultra Marathon delivers plenty of magnificent trail running through our breathtaking region. The event includes an 80km ultra marathon open to solo runners and relay teams and the addition of a NEW 42km trail marathon in 2024 for solo runners, over a new and unique course.
Rapid Ascent are looking for volunteers and will pay a donation back to not-for-profit community organisations and clubs based on a rate of $10 per hour, so sign up today and remember to tell them which club you represent!
Volunteering opportunities include:
Friday 10 May 2024
- Howard Park: assisting with competitor rego between 2.30pm – 7.00pm
Saturday 11 May 2024
- Boranup Campground Aid Station: Between 6.30am – 10am
- Contos Campground Aid Station: Between 8.30am – 1pm
- Riflebutts Reserve Aid Station: Between 10.30am – 4pm
- Gracetown Beach Aid Station: Between 12 noon – 7.30pm (or part thereof)
- Howard Park Finish Line: Between 12 noon – 9pm (or part thereof)
Sunday 12 May 2024
- Yallingup Beach for start and Aid Station 7.30am – 09.30am
- Wyadup Road Aid Station: 8.30am – 10.30am
- Moses Rocks Aid Station: 9.30am – 12.30pm
- Juniper Rd Aid Station: 10am – 2pm
- Howard Park Finish Line 8am – 4pm (or part thereof)
