Thirteen new local projects funded with Community Development & Events Grants

We are excited to announce the recipients of Round 2 of the Community Development & Events Grants for 2025–26. 

This round adds 13 new projects to the 19 already funded, bringing the total to 32 community initiatives that have been supported this year with nearly $180,000 in funding.

From cultural celebrations and creative workshops to sporting events and community gatherings, these projects help make our region a more connected and vibrant place to live.

•    Nala Boodja Eco Clan – Kwobba Koornt 2026 – $10,000
•    Family Flow – Online Safety & Healthy Screen Use – $3,000
•    Margaret River Theatre Group – 2026 Pantomime – $4,000
•    Movement Solutions – Silent Disco Community Movement Series – $8,580
•    Augusta Community Development Association – 25–26 Community Events – $4,000
Category 2 Easy Grants
•    Swimming Mermaids – 2026 Margaret River Ocean Swim – $2,770
•    Shake Down Studio – Beatlab Weekend – $3,000
•    Jodie Passmore (auspice Witchcliffe Progress Association) – Witchy Experts Club – $1,500
•    Margaret River Off Road Cycling Association – Enduro Jam 2026 – $3,000
•    Cowaramup BMX Club – Matthew Blake Coaching – $1,540
•    Margaret River RSL – ANZAC Day Service – $1,950
•    Parkwater Community Group – Community Event Banners & Equipment – $1,278

Applications for the next round will open mid-March 2026 for projects delivered between July 2026 and June 2027.
