The Shire is offering a 12-month traineeship designed to give you exposure to a variety of roles in infrastructure maintenance, parks and gardens, and administration. This is your chance to learn on the job, contribute to your community, and set yourself up for future employment or vocational training.
The successful applicant will be:
- Have a genuine interest in horticulture, infrastructure, and admin work
- Are team players with good communication skills
- Progressing towards successful completion of Year 12; and
- Living within the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.

- Fixed Term - 12 months from January 2026
- Level 1 (17/18 years of age) - $45,079 - $48,929 per annum
