The Shire’s friendly Planning Services team routinely provide basic planning advice via phone or email. As we all know, having the right advice is essential to ensuring a successful project.
To allow for more in depth information to be provided the existing service is now being expanded so that detailed written advice can be provided for a small fee.
To obtain written planning information, just fill out the form provided including as much detail as you can about the nature of the advice you are seeking.
Please appreciate that written planning advice does not replace the assessment associated with the lodgement of a development application. While the advice is given in good faith, it in no way binds a future decision by the Council.

Should you wish to make a complaint about development or use of land in the shire you will need to complete a Planning Complaints form and send it to Chief Executive Officer Shire of Augusta Margaret River PO Box 61 Margaret River WA 6285.
The Shire’s Legal Services Co-ordinator will investigate and respond to your complaint within 14 days of receipt of the complaint.
